GLOW is Pacific Links Foundation's free, bilingual self-learning platform for English, professional development, and life skills. I'm rebuilding its site from scratch, rebuilding the curriculum behind it so students can practice on their own and volunteers can prep lessons with AI tools, and teaching the staff to use AI in their own work. I also teach English through it.

What GLOW is
GLOW stands for Growing Learning Opportunities Worldwide. It's a free self-learning platform run by Pacific Links Foundation, in Vietnamese and English, with three tracks: English, professional development, and skills and network building. The courses themselves live on the foundation's Moodle platform.
Rebuilding the site
I'm rebuilding GLOW's site from scratch, in two halves. The first is the public page: bilingual, one scroll story from the top of the page to "start learning", dressed in the foundation's own brand guideline, with GLOW's wordmark, course artwork, and copy kept exactly as they are.
The second half is the platform: sign-in, a dashboard, courses, the English tracks, and resources, all built to read live from the foundation's existing Moodle. Moodle stays the system of record, so the new site stores nothing itself. There's no database, no user table, and no learner data sitting anywhere. It has a content editor so staff can change the copy without me, and the operations guide is written for someone who isn't a developer. Until the platform is connected, every signed-in page carries a sample data banner so demo content can never be mistaken for the foundation's own records.

Rebuilding the curriculum
I'm also rebuilding the lesson plan behind GLOW, working AI tools into two places: how students practice on their own, and how volunteers prep a lesson before they teach it.
Teaching the staff to use AI
I'm teaching the foundation's staff to use AI tools in their own day-to-day work.
Teaching
I teach English through GLOW, and I help grow the foundation's 10 Minds mentoring program by recruiting and running sessions.
